Zoe and Olivia have had the same dream for as long as they've been best friends: to become professional dancers. Studying at an elite NYC ballet school, they both practice tirelessly. But when they get the devastating news that they've been cut from ballet school, they find themselves having to adapt to public high school, cliques, and new extracurricular activities. Luckily, they are together, and can take comfort in the fact that even if their ballet plans have been altered, they can still plan their futures together. Unfortunately, in this midst of all this change, Olivia is diagnosed with Leukemia, and Zoe is suddenly forced to consider what life would be like without her best friend.
