3.5 Stars: "The plot is quite intriguing and makes readers question the motives of WICKED for forcing the kids to survive in such dangerous conditions, whether or not WICKED is justified, how the children will solve the maze, etc. However, the writing style seems a bit 2-dimensional, some passages focus on repetitive themes, like Thomas' constant questions, lack of memory, and feelings of fear. Also, not much character development occurs."- B.B., grade 12
