Growing up, Calvin always thought Bill Watterson's Calvin & Hobbes comics were written for him. It's hard not to when you're name is Calvin, your uncle gave you a stuffed tiger (named Hobbes), your best friend's name is Susie, and the author stopped writing the Calvin comic strips the day you were born.But when Calvin turns 17, those coincidences turn a little wonky. After having a conversation with Hobbes and then passing out in school the next day, Calvin is sent to the hospital where he is later diagnosed with schizophrenia. Calvin decides he can either wait forever to under-go tests, or he can trek across frozen Lake Erie to convince Bill Watterson to write one more Calvin & Hobbes comic- without Hobbes.
